Lisa Love, MSW LCSW CBIS

Lisa brings an unusually fresh, unique and insightful level of experience toward overcoming life’s challenges with resiliency.  She empowers people to live a life with resiliency, meaning, balance, harmony, and growth.

At age 19, Lisa was involved in a near fatal car accident, and again 19 years later.   As a result of spinal injuries and head trauma from the first accident, a permanent and degenerative, dual spinal and neurological disease process developed which have caused residual complications with intractable pain.  Lisa understands the dynamics of pain, how it affects life, and how to overcome and pain management.

Lisa specializes in pain management, brain injury,  and various life challenges and experiences, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, change and adjustment, tension and anger, drug and alcohol abuse and dependence, which co-exist with life. Bringing extensive insight of life challenges and experiences, combined with over 14 years of academic and clinical experience, she is devoted to helping other people navigate through life’s challenges and changes, and overcome with resiliency.  She has earned undergraduate degrees in addictionology, psychology, general arts, and social work.  Earning her Master’s in Clinical Social Work and creating “Living For A Change, LLC”, in Florida and now "Foundations of Hope, Health, and Wellness, LLC" in Casper, Wyoming, her desire is to professionally, therapeutically, and compassionately provide support and help other people to use their will and spirit to overcome life’s challenges with resiliency and to live a quality life; live better, love more, let go....enjoy, celebrate and laugh with life.

Lisa has also achieved national certification as a Brain Injury Specialist.  Brain injury often results in functional changes and loss of capacity.  Lisa helps people to understand how to compensate for the changes, bridging the gap between what was, what is, and what can be, providing people with skills and tools to reconnect and build neuro pathways, which helps to regain and maximize function, reducing stress and tensions for people who suffer the injury and for the caregivers.
